John Muir Country Park, just outside Dunbar in East Lothian which has been destroyed by Storm Arwen over the weekend of 26th and 27th November 2021.
The park is named after John Muir, the father of conservation who was born in Dunbar and later emigrated to the United States, where he was instrumental in setting up the National Park system.
Designated in 1976, the park covers an area of seven hundred and thirteen point five hectares stretching along 8 miles of coastline from Pfeffer Sands to Dunbar Castle.
