Visit East Lothian

It’s been great working with Kirsty Innes PR again to produce this series of tourism recovery films for Visit East Lothian. The first film is aimed at those who particularly enjoy rural relaxation. It is designed to showcase East Lothian as wonderful place to explore, reconnect and unwind on day trips and holidays. Visit East Lothian published the short film on their YouTube channel this week in time for the easing of Scottish travel restrictions.

It’s been challenging producing a tourism related film during lockdown and in addition to shooting bespoke footage when possible we were also able to utilise archive and stock imagery. In addition to the full length film we also produced shorter 15 and 30 sec versions for social media channels in various formats including square and upright.

In these Covid days it is an advantage to work as a one man crew to limit the number of people on location.

I am very lucky to live in East Lothian – it truly is one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland.
