Walter Scott Prize 2026

One of the highlights of my year is working with Stonehill Salt PR at the Borders Book Festival on the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction. We filmed interviews with all the shortlisted authors in a library at Abbotsford – The Home of Sir Walter Scott. Congratulations to winner Alice Jolly for her book The Matchbox Girl and well done to the shortlisted finalists; Graeme Macrae Burnet, Jo Harkin, Rachel Seiffert, Benjamin Wood.
