Rosslyn Chapel Guides

Visitors to Rosslyn Chapel have had an extra treat this summer, with the introduction of new exterior tours, led by local children and young people.

The tours were developed for the Chapel’s Summer Apprentice Guides, in collaboration with heritage drama specialists Illuminate UK, and took place on Wednesdays throughout the summer holidays.

The Summer Apprentice Guides, who are aged between 11 and 18, were in character and costume and led visitors around the outside of the Chapel, sharing some of the building’s history and pointing out key stone carvings.

It’s always a treat to shoot at Rosslyn Chapel – it’s such a unique building which an intriguing history. If you haven’t already visited, I would highly recommend it. Look out for the tours.
