Meet Mackenzie, an apprentice painter responsible for helping to maintain Edinburgh Castle, one brushstroke at a time.

From restoring and repainting historic canons to maintaining the intricate metalwork of the Rolls of Honour in the Scottish National War Memorial, his work helps ensure both the interior and exterior of this iconic site are at their best for visitors to experience and enjoy for generations to come.
